After I delete the file with the extension .gedit under /tmp folder.I
got the same error.May be this information could be helpfull

I have the same problem Ubuntu Hardy and my wireless doesnt scan access
points anymore.I'm using iwlwifi the latest driver and there is no
solution using with KDE network component.
