I also think there is something fishy going on with the language
extensions to Firefox supplied by Ubuntu. After installing Turkish and
Bulgarian language support, I can no longer install any add-ons from the
mozilla site. The extension manager simply refuses to install them. Very
frustrating...

The path is not mounted before log in, and actually the windows partition does
not get mounted even after I log in until I click on it in
Places->Computer->WinXP. Gutsy requires an administrative password to mount it
(because it is an internal vs external disk), in Feisty I think it used

I experienced the same installer hang at 5%. My workaround was to not to
set a mount point for my windows partition, and manually add it to
/etc/fstab once the installation is completed.

My version is 0.6.2 from the ubuntu repository, I will wait until the

Tracker does not seem to index folders on an NTFS partition.
Thank you for your response. I restarted my laptop at least twice since
I made the changes in the preferences menu, however I still cannot
search through any of the folders the folders in my windows directory.
Is there any way to check which folders tracker has indexed?
