This also impacts other stores (mine only crashes when I switch to GPG
keys).

This problem (Lenovo Thinkpad S1, Intel graphics) is still present for
me, and the VBlank fix in #12 did /not/ work.
When I resume, the machine often (but not always) does not automatically
"show" the screen (e.g. it is a lit, but black screen) on the normal
wake actions (open lid, press lenovo's
Of note, I am experiencing this same problem in 14.04, running 3.16 rc4
(moving up to rc7 today). The only error mentioned in the pm-suspend
resume process is "Failed to connect to non-global ctrl_ifname: (null)
error: No such file or directory" when wpa-supplicant is being dragged
out of bed.

I also experience a related problem with a Thinkpad S1. On 3.13 would
cause complete lockout, in 3.15, switching to terminals and pkilling the
x session still works. Trying 3.16 next.

This is currently happening 100% of the time for me. The account edit
window appears and evolution immediately crashes.
Here is the backtrace it leaves:

/usr/lib/evolution-data-server/libeews-1.2.so.0(+0x29be7
This just started happening on my 13.04 box. Is there a workaround
until the fix comes down the pipe?

So, this bug has been driving me absolutely nuts. For me, alt-tabbing
(using the dodge animation) caused the blanked screens (only in
nautilus, oddly enough). Disabling the animation plugin has, so far,
"solved" the problem. Sad to lose a bit of eye candy, but the cost was
absolutely worth it.

I am also connecting to a Synology NAS and experiencing this after
connecting to it via AFP. Even after unmounting/disconnecting, the CPU

I have the exact same problem. It occurs in two ways:
1) Using Ctrl-Alt-D to show desktop
2) Using Unity's Switcher to select the desktop, which also shows the desktop.
Once this happens, no other switcher (ring switcher, super-w) can show
the existing windows. They lose any indicators in the l
