It appears my problem was solved by doing the following: 1) Use nomodeset on installation 2) Use nomodeset on GRUB boot command (removing quiet splash) 3) Upon booting, install the recommended hardware drivers. Everything seems to work great now. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help

I am getting a blank screen on live cd (10.04 LTS 32 bit) on a Dell Latitude E6410 (w/ Nvidia NVS 3100m). I am unsure if my issue is related, but it does seem to have the same system and end problem. Please let me know if I can check into anything that will help diagnose this issue. -- [lucid]
