Just to confirm that I have experienced the same thing, fresh install last week
on a DELL vostro.
This should be a HIGH PRIOPITY bug. Afterall Ubuntu is popular because the
basic thinks average users want to do with a PC works out of the box. It
think such a bug it is not accetable for a LTS r
Same problem,
