cannot find mpi.mod for mpich2-dev
which should be in /usr/include/mpich2 or somwwhere like this.
ps. my last attempt to reinstall libmpich2-dev also failed.
$sudo apt-get install mpich2
Reading package lists...
Building dependency tree...
Reading state information...
Sorry, now I have found mpi.mod.
but
$apt-file search mpi.mod
still give nothing about this file in mpich2

Thank u for your reponse.
sorry, now ther version is correct and I could find mpi.mod in the include
dictionary(/usr/include/mpich2).
but $apt-file search mpi.mod
cannot list this file. some other files in libmpich2-dev cannot be search in
this way either.
$ dpkg -l |grep mpich
rc
there shoule be an folder named mpich2 in /usr/include, where u can find may
head files like mpi.h.
The fact is I cannot find those head files. This is to say, I cannot compile
any mpi-involved software from source via mpich2. openmpi package seems also
have this problem.
ps. I do installed
p...@ryan:~$ dpkg -l | grep mpich
rc libmeep-mpi2 0.20.3-3ubuntu1
library for using parallel (mpich) version of meep
rc libmpich1.0gf 1.2.7-9.1ubuntu1
mpich runtime shared library
ii
Now it doesn't occur anymore.
