I've noticed, that disk-manager sources in
https://code.launchpad.net/debian/+source/disk-manager are not updated from
Debian since 2011 May :(
It would be nice to see up to date sources, then we can use packaging recipes
to create packages for Ubuntu in PPAs.

You received this bug
I removed the package and blacklisted it on request of an Ubuntu
developer. If an Ubuntu developer says that the blacklist entry should
be removed, the archive admins will certainly do so, but I'm not
volunteering to be the Ubuntu developer to look into this. :)

Title:
Thanks Jeremy.
I subscribed Steve to this bug.
I think Disk-Manager should not be black-listed any more. It has been
updated until recently (2011), works with all supported Ubuntu versions,
handles UUIDs, and works with no major problem.
And above all: please remove Pysdm from Ubuntu
disk-manager is in the Ubuntu archive sync blacklist as a fix for bug
333596. You'll probably want to talk to Steve Langasek if you think the
issues that led to its removal no longer apply. I'm setting this bug to
incomplete waiting for a follow up about whether this is wanted in
Ubuntu.
Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.
** Changed in: disk-manager (Ubuntu)
Status: New = Confirmed
