choose older version and install it (I showing example with exact

Same problem for me. It continues after new kernel 4.4.0.31 installed today.
I'm on nvidia geforce 610Ti with open source driver (nouveau) ... so it seems
to be independent of the GPU.

Same here with a new install of Ubuntu Yakkety and a Radeon HD 7700
Series GPU (Gallium 0.4 on AMD CAPE VERDE DRM 2.43.0, LLVM 3.8.0), seems
using proprietary Intel microcode firmware...
