Hi,
I do have the same problem here with a Debian Unstable with v2.22.2-2.
I didn't have the problem with v2.14.4-3.
I can't open my svg files with firefox, eog and others.
The thumbnails in Nautilus are working.
On example of svg file : http://trois.six.free.fr/fichiers/file1.svg
Firefox is not impacted. When I open directly a svg within Firefox it
works.
That's when I try to open a svg file in firefox, it uses 100% of RAM
when the dialog is open.

I confirm on Gusty:
rsvg neueVision_Idee.svg test.png launches a core dumped.
But nautilus has no problem to create the thumbnails !?
eog is unable to open the file.
Inkscape says nothing.
The svg document is valid.
