Hello Team,
I have submitted bug as you suggested in bugs.isc.org with all needed
information as given below.
==
We got the same issues on 4 servers more than 2-3 times, all running with same
OS, Bind version as I mentioned in my first report.
Given below the crashdump
All those variables were written over with 0xde:
#7 0x7f2e244b6f12 in add_bad (fctx=fctx@entry=0x7f2e1a3ab8a0,
addrinfo=addrinfo@entry=0x7f2e0b046588, reason=reason@entry=65620,
badtype=badtype@entry=badns_validation) at ../../../lib/dns/resolver.c:2892
2892../../../lib/dns/resolver.c:
Thanks for these:
Dec 7 11:51:47 dns2 named[1305]: no valid DS resolving
'bahnuaayklyzeofxzdde.gb.com/DS/IN':
That confirms what I saw in the crash file, the 57054 address family
which is incorrect.

In order to reach that INSIST(0) code, type.sa.sa_family needs to be something
other than AF_INET, AF_INET6 or AF_UNIX:
void
isc_netaddr_fromsockaddr(isc_netaddr_t *t, const isc_sockaddr_t *s) {
int family = s->type.sa.sa_family;
t->family = family;
switch (family) {
I got the crash file.
