Thanks. If the fix is in 'system76-driver' then I don't think there's
any way for us to track that because it's not an official Ubuntu
package.

I had tried removing everything gnome-related, including the gnome
extensions, but it didn't help.
The bug solved with System76 engineers patching their system76-driver.

Actually the best thing to try first is to remove all gnome-shell
extensions. You have a few:

Can you please try downgrading to a supported version of the nvidia
driver:
