I'm seeing the same behavior on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS using gnome-shell- extensions 3.36.3-1 on Gnome 3.36.7 and pasting images captured with KDE Spectacle. Every time I take a screen shot and press the "Copy to Clipboard" button, my gpaste buffer fills up with copies of the image and my CPU spikes
