Title:
[UBUNTU 20.04]
Since this worked for me with subiquity 20.06.1
https://github.com/CanonicalLtd/subiquity/releases/tag/20.06.1
and 20.06.1 got released and can be used either by updating the subiquity
installer to the latest level or by using a current daily live-server image
Thx for the hint, Michael. I now tried again based on the current daily-
live image - plain as well as with edge enabled - and I got autoinstall
to work on a z/VM (means with real ccw devices).
The only difference between current daily and edge is that edge is a bit
nicer (afaics) if one tries to
"LiveMediaBuild: Ubuntu-Server 20.04 LTS "Focal Fossa" - Release s390x
(20200423.1), SnapVersion: 20.04.3" <- can you try with newer media
please?

I tried such a setup today, means trying to manually enable the primary qeth
device as well as a dasd disk via early-commands and I ended up with a network
fail/crash (and a follow on fail/crash of the UI while - I think while the env.
tried to generate a crash report).

As with https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/subiquity/+bug/1879305
I think you'll need to use chzdev in early-commands to activate the nic
first.

zdev keys are missing from autoinstall, and from subiquity itself
