The getdeb.net package for Gutsy (http://getdeb.net/release.php?id=1708)
works in Hardy and does create a menu entry. A diff file is available
from the site; basically it has an additional file,
/usr/share/applications/pipewalker.desktop

The Debian package, version 0.2.1-2 also has the pipewalker.desktop file:

It installs just fine in Hardy and makes an icon in the GNOME menu.
