everyone involved for addressing this issue!
The proposed package for noble resolves the issue for me with an in-
house application. Additionally I tested that the simple steps to
reproduce in the bug description no longer

Accepted llvm-toolchain-18 into noble-proposed. The package will build
now and be available at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/llvm-
toolchain-18/1:18.1.3-1ubuntu1 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed
repository.
Please help us by testing this new
-1ubuntu0.1 would've been perfect for the first SRU, but not a reason to
reject.

Thanks, will sponsor. I would have preferred a versioning not like ubuntu1 but
ubuntu1.24.04.1, but since
there were never ubuntu1 version, I guess it is fine, specially because
oracular has already a newer version.
