Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been
any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue
for you. Can you try with the latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.

This indeed happens with FF3. I'm using default font configuration. Once (in a
several tens of reboots) it happened to me that this problem has not appeared.
But in majority cases it does happen.
BTW, it happens with many other sites, kde-look.org for example (attached
screenshot)

Again, in Konqueror everything works perfect (font-wise).

The same URL, but FF3. Notice monstrous quotes font size compared to
small navigation font. The font is so big, that quotes spans to almost
all of the 1920 pixel screen width.

Some sites are
This is http://www.bash.org/?random in konqueror. Fonts look proportional -
compare the site navigation font in upper-right, and quotes font.
My screen resolution is 1920x1080 (24), so the font size is acceptable.

Ok. I've nailed the bug!
If I start firefox and my screen resolution is 1920x1200 - but occures!
But if I change my screen resolution to 1280x800 and restart firefox - it looks
just fine! (resizing screen to bigger resolution while firefox is running -
does not trigger the bug).

Some sites
1280 pixel by X axis - the last good working resolution. 1440x900
already causes problems.
