Sorry. I have to add that trackpad works fine. Only usb mouse causes
very slow pointer movements. nothing special in syslog.

Hi!
I still have this problem with my HP dv2935la. Mouse acceleration is
working though which makes it slightly more bearable, but the mouse
sensitivity setting is still ignored.
I've also tried changing the xorg.conf manually and using gsynaptics
with no success.

Also on Intrepid with a Toshiba Portege M200. I'm using an external
mouse but when using the trackpad it's extremely slow, a complete
finger move from one side to the other is not even one inch on the
screen. I thought there's preferences for each, trackpad and mouse, but
there's only one preferen
