Actually I've slightly changed the patch, and committed it to bzr
anyway, so just do:
* grab terminator from bzr ("bzr branch lp:terminator")
* apply the attached patch
* run with ./terminator -d
then do whatever steps are necessary to reproduce the error and hopefully it
won't produce an err
I'm not able to reproduce this, so could you:
* grab terminator from bzr ("bzr branch lp:terminator")

* run with ./terminator -d
and look for the new debug messages in the debug logging, it may help us
figure out what's going on, but my reading of the code I think w
well, it was error produced but terminator was still open. When i
reported the apport traces I didnt see it was still open. Neverthless it
gives an annoying error popup. this happened when I did a Ctrl + Shift +
E from a window which was running screen + irssi.
