I think this is a bug in Firefox. It mixes and matches background and foreground colors from random GTK components. Try to make a rainbow theme that assigns the same hue (but different lightness) to text and background of the same component and different hue to standard/selection/prelight, .. I

Hmm, I just checked and Firefox 3.6.10 gets this one correctly. However, it paints inactive selection in web pages in selection text color on gray background and disabled menu items in disabled color on normal background. GTK apps render the inactive menu items in the same colors but with inset
