Unfortunately have to know-how about programming it.
Otherwise I would just attach a patch to fix it.

Agreed, doing name ▸ shutdown ▸ shutdown makes zero sense when I have
already saved all my documents and did not hit the "power" button by
accident. This is approaching windows-like amusement of start ▸
shutdown.
