Whilst looking at another application window, Nautilus reported error
whilst trying to read a floppy disc drive which I do not have on my
computer, and then crashed.

Vivek, This looks to be a completely different bug than the original bug
report here, you would be better off filing a new bug report for your
issue.
Also a backtrace with debug symbols would be infinitely more helpful,
easiest way is to submit via crash dialog from apport.
