Koala and the desktop edition of Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx has ended.
If this problem is still occurring on Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail
please file a new bug report so that we can get a fresh set of system
logs and system info.
This bug is still present in 9.10Stable and 10.04Beta1

Is universe enabled on that image? Its for isntalled systems, but I'm
not sure about usb live-systems.
What url do you get the error for?

Hi Michael.
As I mentioned at the bottom of the bug report, Universe is not enabled
by default, and without it enabled, it is not searched, and thus the
plugins aren't found (the dialogue stating The search will also include
software which is not officially supported. notwithstanding)
The error
I was going to play Mjpeg-4 file, then the Totem requesting downloading
Mpeg4 decoder. So it was installing the decoder.
Then the file (mp4) was playing, however, in the middle of the session,
the Totem was requesting H.264 decoder (but it did not route any further
instruction to install
When I try to play a YouTube video in Totem (Movie Player), this error is
thrown. (screen capture attached)
An error occurred
Could not open location; you might not have permission to open the file.
The search does work, and right clicking will display the option to open
link in browser, and
