I checked related bug http://code.google.com/p/synergy-
plus/issues/detail?id=79 and there is already provided package for 32
and 64bit version => don't see any reason not to use their officially
packed one (but I might be wrong :)).
For me on karmic 64bit their deb package works fine.

This is a great idea. I had so many problems with synergy (crashes,
garbage in copy-paste, asserts, hangs where the whole machine was hung
until I ssh'd into the box and "killall syner" etc). Besides that,
synergy is relatively hard to configure (even if you're using the
quicksynergy package) compa
