Can anyone remember how exactly this was "fixed"? Because I have the
same kind of problem on 8.04 and have for the last two years.
After every resume from sleep, the text console would be more and more
corrupted, and eventually (perhaps after 5 resumes) I would have dirty
black artifacts on the mo

Is anything happening with this? In the latest Dapper 6.10 acpi suspend to
disk/hibernate dont wake up after closing the lid. If there is any further info
I can provide, please let me know.
