I'm sorry to hear Ubuntu One isn't working properly for you.
Fortunately, I think there is a workaround for this problem as I believe
it's related to bug 455544 which occurs when the bandwidth preferences

This has worked properly since my last posting, however, for some
reason the preferences keep resetting themselves on random occasions to
limit bandwith to 0 kb/s both up and down. All I have to do is uncheck
the box and it starts working again. There appears to be no pattern as

something similar happens.

Guillermo,
Thanks for the reply but, fortunately (or unfortunately depending on how
you look at it), I have just received and installed the new kernel
update and the problem disappeared. Everything now appears to work with
regards unbuntu one - files and contacts are now syncing and the notes
Incidentally, having looked at bug 455544, this would not appear to be
the same bug. There are no warning messages or errors - it simply does
not work and refuses to connect for more than a couple of seconds.

Hi Steve,
Sorry to hear that Ubuntu One isn't working.
could you attach ~/.cache/ubuntuone/log/syncdaemon-exceptions.log to the
bug?
Also, please check Bug #455544 as you might be hitting that bug.
Thanks.

It would appear that the Tomboy notes upload does work, but nothing
else. I have managed to sync tomboy notes, even though there would
appear to be no connection. I have also managed to upload a couple of
files by uploading from the website, not the desktop. Had no success so
far with contacts
