Public bug reported:

After upgrading to lucid, nautilus stop opening smb:// shares by DNS-
domain name.

I have some server in local network:

IP: 10.80.0.1
 smb://10.80.0.1/share/ - working great, Ok
NETBIOS: Server
 smb://server/share/ - working great, Ok
DNS: server.net.local
smb://server.net.local/share/ - Not FOUND !!! Stop working after upgrade :(

My DNS is working good and is not a reason of problem:

r...@linux:/tmp# host server.net.local
server.net.local has address 10.80.0.1

r...@linux:/tmp# ping -c1 server.net.local
PING server.net.local (10.80.0.1) 56(84) bytes of data.
64 bytes from server.net.local (10.80.0.1): icmp_seq=1 ttl=63 time=0.288 ms
