dvipdfm Fai
Sad that this problem still hasn't been fixed. Ran into this problem and
a search lead me here. Andof course I then found the helpful workaround
... which I wrote two years ago and had forgotten about.
It should be a trivial fix. Would someone please take the five minutes
needed to fix it.

Link update:
In case anyone else comes along, the link to the ctan directory has been
updated. It is best to browse to the directory and see which tar.gz file is
there. I found dvipdfmx-20110311.tar.gz and dvipdfmx.tar.gz .

http://mirror.ctan.org/dviware/dvipdfmx/dvipdfmx-20100328.tar.gz
2. Extract the two files glyphlist.txt pdfglyphlist.txt
3. Copy to /etc/texmf/dvipdfm
This fixes the problem.

I've noticed these files existed in previous version of package "dvipdfmx",
with some essential files to make the CJK words in the PDF file copyable. (font
mapping file, etc.)
