I was able to get the display to accept 1280x1024 by changing the
refresh rates and ONLY changing the defaulted 24 bit mode to now include
the 1280x1024 resolution!
I still get a Video mode not supported after the modules are loading
with the Ubuntu screen with the progressing slider but before
Public bug reported:
Folks, 6.06LTS was fine with this video combination yet with 6.10, I
cannot get better than 1024x768 because the xorg.conf limits it to this.
Specifics:
Samsung 192N supports up to 1280x1024 24 bit color with 30-81 Horz and 50-75
