any information about how to reproduce the directory permission
problems.

After deleting ~/.cache/gnome-documents everything is now working
perfectly. It seems like some of the folders in the cache had permission
issues.

In Quantal, I have gnome-documents 0.5.5 though, not 3.5.5.
