any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an
issue? If so, could you please test for this with the latest development
release of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from

I downgraded xorg-server-core to 2:1.10.4-1ubuntu4.2 and then pinned it
back. Everything works well now, but obviously this needs to be fixed.
Here's the steps for anyone else experiencing this problem. Install
aptitude if you don't already have it.
aptitude install xserver-xorg-core=2:1.10.4-1ubu

Thanks Fabio! Is there any way I can browse code changes to xorg? I
might be able to pinpoint some changes that could've caused this. I'm
really desperate to get this fixed.

Launch the session, got to console and :
apt-get install w3m that is a textual browser.
run in the same console
apport-collect 927854
that browser will be launched, position the cursor in the fields then type

The keyboard works fine.
Using another mouse doesn't affect anything.
I can't use that comment as I don't have a gui on my laptop, so I can't open a
browser. When I try to open that page on my laptop (logged in as me), I get
"Not allowed here
