yes you are right. delay was due to dhcp request.
i saw incorrect path in the log :
Feb 11 06:36:44 localhost dhclient: can't create
/var/lib/dhcp3/dhclient.eth0.leases: No such file or directory
real path is /var/lib/dhcp

As discussed in bug 930285 comment 9, in oneiric you must provide a
configuration file at lxc-create. The comment explains the delay. I'll
mark this bug invalid, but bug 930285 very much remains valid and
worrying.

You say the containers start slowly, but the strace shows it took about
2 seconds. Can you tell us how long it actually takes?
I suspect (because I don't see it) that it is fixed as a part of the
upstart related fixes in precise.
