GEdit isn't localized since latest updates of language-packs. (screenshot)
- Same with gtk-filechooser and it's appmenu.
- e.g. Nautilus, Totem and former gnome-utils are fine.

thank you for your bug report, it's a langpack replaces issue, you can
sudo apt-get --reinstall language-pack-gnome-de to workaround it or wait
for the next update
