Kernel 4.4.0-83.106 crashed on boot (with the same error) 4 out of 5
times.
Kernel 4.4.0-87.110 crashed 0 (zero) out of 5 times.

two, and nothin
Please try 4.4.0-87-generic from xenial-proposed, it has several fixes
on nouveau.
