but i get this error only when my Conon is already mounted..
I dont know how to add f-spot in open camera with menu

The same error here also with canon 400D EOS with kernel 2.6.24-19-generic.

Using kernel 2.6.24-5 the problem is gone:

In this case, I'll set the bug to Invalid because it doesn't occur for
the original submitter in the full environment. If someone else
reproduces the bug with the 2.6.24 kernel, they're welcome to reopen the
