Thank you for your work there, I've pinged upstream about it and they
will get it commited in gnome-2-32 and get a new tarball before natty
with that fix and some others included

not sure the fix qualities for a stable update in a non lts version,
update have a cost for the ubuntu team, testers, mirrors, users who
download the update, etc, those are usually restricted to fix important
issues
