I also confirm this. Steps to reproduce:
1) Open exactly two windows and minimize them to unity launcher.
2) Restore any one window and close it.
3) Result: The other window on Unity launcher cannot be restored to desktop by
clicking on its icon on launcher.

I have exactly the same problem.
I'm using Kubuntu Natty, and there still is no repo of the cdburning group.
As soon as it's there I will check if the problem persists with cdrecord.
This bug should be reopened.

functionality done during work on gcc-linaro packages (native + cross).
My patches were made with 20110813 version so current version needs work
- gcc-multiarch.diff got rewritten since then so my changes
