1) if you have only a "Notification Area" applet, it shows just a keyboard icon;
2) if you add the "Indicator Applet Complete", it'll show a keyboard icon with

I went back in Precise kernels [1] all the way back to 3.0.0-12.20.
There seem to be no easy answers: now even 3.0.0-12.20 crashes with
-intel.
I think this either means that the hardware's broken, or that the issue
has been lurking in kernels all the way back to (at least) 3.0.0-12.20,

I've attached the log I captured between the time I'm downloading a
Ubuntu DVD and after the network connection came back to life again.
Channel seemed to stay at 6 in this case which is pretty noisy according
to the android wifi analyser app.

I cannot reproduce this bug. In my case, when upgrading, the nscd
service is first stopped (see nscd.prerm) before being started again (in

problem: before the update, dead keys didn't work on Emacs, but worked

The script you're referencing is installed wher it should be (/usr/share
/boot-sav/bs-init.sh), so there is still something wrong... (either in
my system or in the package).

Ubuntu 11.10 to 12.4, MySQL 5.0.0 changed to 5.2
My solution was to:
To dump old bacula db's to text file
>mysqldump -u bacula -p --database bacula > bacula.txt
>mysql -u bacula -p < bacula.txt
Then update version:
>cd /usr/share/bacula-director
>gedit update_mysql_tables
and chaged line t
Is it predictable when there is a solution to stop this problem?
