in NetworkManager no matter how I tried. It turned out that the acer-wmi
module was wrongly loaded, and it had a rfkill bit that prevented NM
from starting wifi interface.

Confirmed but not reproducible here. I saw this once after installing TB
and starting it, but haven't noticed it since then and can't reproduce
it either. No TB and Unity related packages have been updated in the

The running arrows on the left of launcher tiles are for open windows.
Consequently, if an application is running but has no open windows, the
launcher will wrongly consider it not running, and will launch a new
instance. That’s what is happening with tomboy. The issue with firefox

I have a clean installation of final release of ubuntu 11.04 (64 bit version)
on some other machine. I have just found the same bug also on this clean 64-bit
installation.
I must add two things:
* In the new installation I did not format user-space partition mounted on
