unfortunately I cannot verify whether this still is or is not an issue
because I am also affected by the other bug which prevents me from
adding my facebook account to gwibber. I am eagerly awaiting a fix. In
the meantime, I am not using gwibber.

it working before and now it just does not work any more. Could it be
that some recent update has damaged gwibber?

I am having the same problem. I managed to fix it by deleting the
~/.gconf/apps/gwibber directory. But the problem just reoccurred
eventually because I tried removing facebook again from gwibber because
of some other stupid problem. This time I cannot fix it by the same
method and I am back to

Could you be more specific about which directory you are talking about?
I tried clearing out ~/.cache/gwibber and also ~/.gconf/apps/gwibber and none
of these solved my problem.

There are two problems here I have been having using gwibber 2.30.0.1 on
Ubuntu 10.04. Both of them have been experienced by other people,.
1. Since Saturday I have not been able to post anything. It worked fine on
Saturday, now it doesn't. You click send, and nothing happens.

no, the problem is with gwibber. I did not have this problem before.
Ever since yesterday, gwibber cannot connect to facebook. I can log
into Facebook on the website, but not with gwibber. I know my own
username and password.
