I have now a new Kubuntu 11.04 installation. The problem described above
persists, but only for TCP connections.
Now I am using UDP and it works.

currently I have Kubuntu 10.04 and I have all my partitions with ext3.
Because I have not tried again, I cannot say if the problem is solved.

openvpn stops on reconnect
I made the following to reproduce the problem:
see@ http://live.gnome.org/NetworkManager/Debugging
* killall -TERM nm-openvpn-service
* in a root terminal, run
OPENVPN_DEBUG=1 /usr/lib/network-manager-openvpn/nm-openvpn-service
* start your VPN connection
* reproduce the problem

I have 8.04 LTS using ext3. My home directory is on the same disk/different
partition (/home320).
On my other disk I use 9.10 AMD64 with ext4.
On 9.10 I have symlinked some folders from my 8.04 home into 9.10 home
e.g.(bilder - /home320/public/bilder)

The most obvious way by adding the printer in System Settings - Printer
Configuration - Local Printer is also not working. I tried this before hand.
The printer them self is in the database.
How can debug what is missing?

Uninstall (like on windows) the printer in System Settings - Printer
Configuration - Local Printer
