Ubuntu better. This particular bug has already been reported and is a
duplicate of bug 276503, so it is being marked as such. Please look at
after rebooting the new ubuntu 8.10 , i got a new version (perhaps) of
this package that installed correctly.

Pretty sure this is the same bug. Throughout upgrading from hardy to intrepid,

Doesn't seem to be and Intrepid bug in fact...
I removed ubuntustudio-audio metapackage 0.28 by commenting line 80 of
/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/changesettings.py script ("quick and
dirty" method)
Then ubuntustudio-audio 0.37 metapackage installed successfully.
