Thanks for the reply. I can ping the VR from VM but curl and wget fail to
connect to VR on port 8080. The connection times out. It seems the VR does
listen to port 8080.

Only QCOW2 files support VM snapshots - all other storage solutions don't
(block device/disk passthrough = Ceph, SolidFire iSCSI, scaleIO/powerflex)
This is KVM limitation, not CloudStack.
