Could you perhaps isolate the problem into the smallest reproducible scenario
and share this sample code (form definition / flowscript / jxtemplate).

We use Cocoon 2.1.
It's quite difficult to isolate the scripts because our pages containing forms
are generated applicating XSL stylesheets to templates
Possible encoding issue?
