Dear all,
I am getting error CMS ERROR: 500 when sending SMS messages from web
interface that come with Kannel 1.5.0
I have figured out that CMS ERROR: 500 in MY CASE is because:
1) My modem is, by default, in "text mode" for SMS sending while Kannel
(bearerbox) is sending messages in PDU mode
I just updated to the latest Kannel CVS, everything fine during
compilation. After I launch Kannel into daemon and make some stress test
I found that from 100 MO requests through Kannel HTTP SMSC it doesn't
response all those MO. Somebody can help solve this problem?
Willy
Hi!
Thank Willy for your response.
I need to have users with different smsc access : one can send SMS with
alphanumeric sender, other with fixed sender...
Someone can send me a Kannel configuration with various smsc and various
users attached?
Thanks in advance.

Cyril

Hi,
In my opinion you don't need to make 3 users to send sms. Add smsc-id
directive on your smsc-group. And when you send SMS via HTTP command.
just add smsc=your-smsc-id. Please refer to HTTP command in the user
guide.

Willy

Hi
I'm having trouble figuring out how to decode a message from gsm-7 using
kannel. What settings are relevant?
Id like to see ascii come through to my sms service but instead im seeing
the message encoded as gsm-7.
The sms is coming from a Vodafone SMSC.

Hi Jesús,
Your get-url surely exceeds the maximum allowed (I think it is 256
chars). Yours is 350 chars long. Try using post-url, or shorten your
get-url.
Best regards,
Rodrigo.
