WTF? Authentication needed to create color profile?

I've been using x2go with no problems. Suddenly when I connect to work I start getting this popup saying I need to provide root password to create a color profile. Where the heck is this coming from? I don't give a hoot about color profiles, accurate color reproduction, etc. I see a static colord.
