I'm just pointing out that e.g. a slow connection can cause the issue,
so this don't have to be Roundcube's fault. Is the IMAP server on the
same host? What PHP
version? What Roundcube version?
IMAP server is Dovecot 2.2.27 and it is on the same host and this host
is not load by memory or CPU
People,
I have had 2FA working in the past but now if the config line
config.inc.php is commented out eg:
// $config['plugins'] = array('twofactor_gauthenticator');
then I don't get any any 2FA stuff in my settings - but if uncomment the
above line, I get logged out and when I try to log
in my experience roundcube is slow with a large inbox (or any large
mailbox). searching is also slow. it can even seem to crash at times.
i am using dovecot as my imap server.
i will see if i can also provide debug output

i have the same problem in my installation. i'm using 1.3.7 and 1.4-beta
to test the performance.
everytime RC gets in touch with the mailserver the speed slows down. if
there is only contact with the db (settings for example) the speed is ok.
