Bayes and forwarded mail

If you setup a mailbox specifically for Bayes to learn and forwarded emails to it, will Bayes sniff them out in a forwarded form? I assume you couldn't bulk forward, but would this work otherwise? -- JAV

Porn Spam

2005-03-21 Thread Joe Polk
I have a friend who has seen a rediculous amount of porn spam lately. He is setup with SA+clamav-milter+clamd. We have a few rules in place but nothing seems to put a dent in the porn spam. I know someone mentioned a new rule coming out to target porn. Is it ready? Anyone have any advise? Is there

First, I had understood that Bayes can learn previously tagged emails without stripping Spamassassin tags. Has this changed? Second, all of my users use a webmail client, though they can use OE if they wish. It is probably best for them to use IMAP so that server-side scanning can better be

Spamd/spamc user issue

2005-01-19 Thread Joe Polk
I'm having a problem getting spamd to work properly as any other user but root. I have it running as user spamd which I have created. I was originally getting create errors for user_prefs for /root. I set my procmailrc file to DROPPRIVS=yes and that cleared that as I had created a /home/spamd
