Hia,
My master backup server is a Sun Solaris server.
I just tried to add the policy via the
dows GUI as a property of the drives.

Hi,
I am configuring a flashbackup for a windows client. This is a part of
the advanced client. We are still using Netbackup 5.1
The documentation is massive.
I need to make a cache device. But I can't find what the requirements
are for this.

I am currently facing the same question.
We have Netbackup 5.1 with mp5,
I am thinking of first migrating to version 6 and then later migrate to
version 6.5
My feeling is an upgrade to version 6.0 has a big impact. And the impact
from version 6 to 6.5 is not so big.

Rob
Ok for those who is interested, I called our supplier.
There is no support for the Solaris X86 Oracle plugin.
There will be in the future starting with NBU version 6.5

Hi Group,
I need to take a server in the backup which is an intel-box which runs
on Solaris 10.
It also has an oracle database. My master-server runs with NBU 5.1 MP5.
There seems to be no client version 5.1 for this OS.
There is a version 6. Would this work with NBU 5.1?

Hi,
This week we enabled the WWN-feature on our L700 tape-robot. This means
that all the devices (tape-drives, robotic arm) got a new WWN-number.
The devices own WWN-number is not longer advertised now the robot itself
advertises a WWN-number for the device. The benefit of this is that in
