I am currently facing the same question. We have Netbackup 5.1 with mp5, I am thinking of first migrating to version 6 and then later migrate to version 6.5 My feeling is an upgrade to version 6.0 has a big impact. And the impact from version 6 to 6.5 is not so big. Regards, Rob

Hi Group, I need to take a server in the backup which is an intel-box which runs on Solaris 10. It also has an oracle database. My master-server runs with NBU 5.1 MP5. There seems to be no client version 5.1 for this OS. There is a version 6. Would this work with NBU 5.1? Regards, R
