Hello All
It turned out, that ALLOW_NORESERVED_PORTS was set to YES on the old
master/media server, after removing this entry and restarting netbackup on
both servers the command now works.
The error could be seen in the bpcd log with VERBOSE=5

But I keep getting:

Hi Mike
Sorry but I have to disagree, as I have been part of a group where we did it
this. Unfortunately I don't work at that company anymore so I don't have
access to the scripts and documentation we did.
Actually you could use mt to change EOM to EOF.

Hello All
Has somebody attempted to integrate NBU into MOM ?
We're runing NBU5.1MP4 in a windows environmemt and the management has
choosen MOM as the monitoring tool.
I've searched for a MOM management pack for NetBackup, but can only find one
for BacupExec, maybe we could adapt this to NetBa
I have tried, but it seems that the emulex driver detects that SP1 is
installed and then create the emulexhbaapi.dll in system32. I'm also afraid
that the next windows update will overwrite hbaapi.dll if isn't the microsoft

Hello All
I have now by trial and error figured out that it wasn't EMC powerpath, but
Windows 2003 SP1 which puts a microsoft hbaapi.dll into system32 in place of
the emulex one.
At the moment there's hbaapi.dll (from microsoft, 64Kb limit) and
emulexhbaapi.dll (at least 256kb) in system32 on
