in the sticks. I usually don't get cellular service where she lives. I
din't know about that but if i don't get service there does that include
email usage also?

You won't get email service with a 3G network because there isn't one
nearby where your mom lives. However, if she has a wi-fi router, you
can link up with that and you're good to go with internet access, at
least.
